This year, we're honored to have been included We are so excited to be included in the category AGAIN for 2025, ranking in a whopping 5th place! With so many amazing companies in Oregon working hard to promote sustainability and green workplace practices, it is such an honor to be recognized.
Sustainability has always been at the heart of Softstar, and walking lightly on the earth is one of our core values as a B-corp. We strive to create a positive, healthy, happy work environment for all employees, and all of us elves embrace the eco-conscious values that are the bedrock of the company. From the locally sourced, high quality materials we use to the restored, green building we work in, we do our best to keep the health of the earth in mind through all aspects of the business!
Our new workshop has so many amazing eco-friendly additions, including radiant heat flooring, upcycled building materials, a permeable parking lot, an electric charging station and an employee carpool program. Anna joined the Softstar team in 2022 approximately a year after graduating from Oregon State University with a dual degree in Marketing and Management. She grew up on a local, rural farm and her passions include exploring the Oregon outdoors, traveling, sports, and playing instruments.
