Soft Star Says Goodbye to Elf Val

Everyone at Soft Star Shoes is sad to see Elf Val go. Val started working at Soft Star Shoes when the RunAmoc took off and jumped right in to barging the soles for us. Our founder Tim's oldest daughter Naomi, who also used to work at Soft Star, is married to Val. Naomi and Val welcomed their first son named Sebastian on Halloween last year. The whole family is now moving to Brazil where Val's family lives. Everyone at Soft Star will miss them and wishes them the best of luck.
Growing up in rural Wisconsin, Tricia spent her summers running around barefoot with her sisters and brother. These early memories later inspired her to build a brand which embraced the joy and freedom of childhood with the health and science of minimal footwear. After 20+ years at the helm as C. Elf. O, Softstar proudly transitioned to employee-owned, and Tricia became the C.F.O. at Softstar. She is a frequent expert panelist for both e-commerce and entrepreneurship conferences.
