Rain and Snow is an excellent all-natural waterproofing solution for our shoes made with smooth (full grain) leather. This special formula gives leather the conditioning and waterproofing agents needed to protect and preserve every fiber. Compatible with footwear using micro fiber membrane technology. Not for use on suede.

  • Wax oil waterproofing
  • Conditions leather and gives superior water repellency

  • Does not contain solvents, harsh chemicals or silicones.

Directions: Remove excess dirt from leather and seams. Apply Rain & Snow leathercare with a brush or cloth. Apply a second coating for maximum protection. Oils may darken light-colored leather.

    I wanted something that Softstar recommended for waterproofing its products, so I got this for the leather portion of my new Phoenix boots. I've also used it on some other leather boots. It's easy to apply and a little goes a long way. It works well and doesn't smell. This bottle should last a good long time.

    I bought this product to waterproof the lower part of my Phoenix boots. Application was easy, and so far, the product seems to be helping my boots stay nice and dry. I live in the northeast US and have worn the boots on rainy and slushy days.

    I use this stuff on my shoes and some of my leather jackets I wear a lot in the rain. It helps to protect the leather and revitalize it a bit. It does darken leather a little and can leave the leather feeling slightly waxy at times, but that wears off with some use. Overall a very solid product that will extend the life of any leather product that gets used in wet conditions.

    This is a great product! The first thing I noticed was that it had no smell. This is a great plus for someone with a nose like mine. When I went to apply it, I noticed it was kind of like a cream, because of the beeswax, but it quickly melted once I put it on my rag. I used a microfiber dusting rag to apply it, and a little bit really went a long way! This is a high quality product. I really rubbed it in, and then left the mocs in front of the fireplace overnight so that the heat would open the pores a bit and let them absorb the oil. I can tell that it darkened my buckskin colored shoes, but the leather is also much softer and more flexible. I actually can't find any fault with this particular product!

    Works well. Brush on let set overnight and then wipe off excess. Does give them a wet look but does seem to waterproof without degrading the leather.
