How is My Information Used?

Personal information that is collected is used to confirm and process your order, to contact you regarding updates to your order or to provide you with marketing information regarding website and product updates, special promotions, etc. If you do not wish to receive marketing correspondence, you can opt out of Softstar marketing communication at anytime by using the unsubscribe link in the email or by contacting our customer service.  

Purchase records are used to tailor our product offerings on our website, in our newsletters, and within Google products, making your shopping experience more enjoyable and convenient.

We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so.

Your relationship with any SNS is governed solely by your agreement(s) with such SNS. If your SNS account terminates, then functions enabled through the link between your Softstar account and your SNS account will terminate as well.

You can disable the link between your Softstar account and your SNS account at any time through the “My Social Accounts” settings section found in your customer “Account Details” menu. You can also request your account link to be disabled by contacting Softstar via phone or email.

 

How Does Softstar Ensure My Information is Secure?

The security of your personal information is very important to Softstar Shoes, and we have implemented measures to ensure your information is processed confidentially, accurately, and securely. Our store is PCI compliant and we undergo regular PCI compliance reviews with a third party vendor to ensure security. Credit card information is not stored in Softstar servers once the transaction is completed. Personal data (name/address/order information) is stored in an encrypted database. Softstar employees do not have access to credit card numbers on orders placed through our website.
