Not for me Review by Jo-Anne

I am disappointed with my toe spacers. I have bunions and thought they could benefit me but they aren't really for this condition or at least don't seem to be for me. (Posted on 7/20/17)
New sizing Review by sydney

I am now using the new size medium and I think it is the fit I really needed. I have had both the small and the old medium and would get to a point where I developed sores that would not go away no matter what I tried doing. The new size--though I am building up slowly to more regular use--stays in place better. I really love what the correctoes have done to aid my balance and walking comfort, so truly hope I will be able to wear these for hours at a time without rubbing. (Posted on 7/20/17)
a life saver! Review by sydney

Correct toes have been a life saver! I went from very painful toes due to arthritis to painfree with better balance as well. I can walk miles with the correct toes and the right shoes to accommodate where I was literally hobbled before using them. I've had a little trouble with sizing and was told there will be an inbetween size coming out soon which I will try. (Posted on 4/4/17)
I can walk again without pain after starting to use my toe separators! A must for people with foot problems. Review by Evelyn

Do you research and shop for these must have toe separators! I can't live with them now right up there with my electric toothbrush! They brought relief from the first time I wore them. (They were sold out on Amazon.ca! Glad to get them in U.S.) (Posted on 12/17/16)

Actually Work - and Quickly Too Review by Phil Angees

"Wow" is the first word that comes to mind to describe this product. I didn't expect them to work as well as they did, and I certainly didn't expect them to work so quickly.

I bought these because my toes were always very weak and pushed together from years of wearing the wrong shoes. I wanted to try and fix this and it looked like the Correct Toes could help so I figured why not.

Within a few weeks of wearing these only at night, my toes naturally started spreading out on their own (even without the correct toes in), and they started getting stronger too. I could feel my toes digging into the ground more and stretching wide with each step. The good results are sticking around too; my feet have been trained to work better just from wearing these for a very small amount of time. And I don't have to keep these on to have the benefits - think of them more like training devices than simple toe spacers.

I was so taken by this product that I told a friend about them, and he has seen even better results than I have. I also went ahead and bought a pair for a very skeptical family member who is now amazed at what her feet are capable of after wearing these for a little while.

All in all, I can definitely recommend this product to anyone looking to unleash the potential of their feet. (Posted on 11/3/16)

For the last 5 month I have pain while walking in my left foot (metatarsalgia) . I starterd to read about it in tne net and read about the need of toes separators and how it is helping all kind of feet problems. I bought several products and found out it is indeed helping to release the pain !!! Correct Toes is the only product that I can wear for hours and in shoes !!! I already ordered one more pair and also ordered the Hawthorne Chukka which are considered Correct Toes approved footwear. Cant wait for it to arrive. Thank you Elves (Posted on 9/3/16)
Love them! Review by irish potato

I have been using Correct Toes for 3-4 years now and will never stop using them. I originally purchased them because I was having knee issues while hiking/running and was trying EVERYTHING to help. No, they did not magically cure my knees, but they just make my feet feel--well, the way feet are supposed to feel. My feet feel comfortable, more natural, and I feel more balanced when I'm walking around. I actually don't like the way my feet feel without them. After all this time I do think my feet have changed a bit from wearing them--with I had before/after x-rays to prove it. And since wearing them forces me to purchase shoes actually shaped like feet, I believe my feet are happier all around. I keep 2 pair and wear them 24/7, including hiking each weekend for 10-20 miles. I cut off half of the separator between 4th & pinky toe because that seems to work best for my feet. When wearing them with shoes I just wear Injinji socks--my feet sweat a lot so wearing shoes barefoot has not worked well for me. But in the summer I just go barefoot around the house and wear them. They last forever (I get about 1 year out of a pair before they split between one of the toes on the bottom), but I continue using them until they actually separate into 2 pieces, another few months. I keep 2 pair, the first one goes into the shower with me for a quick wash and when I'm done pair #1 air dries while pair #2 goes on my feet. They are also a conversation starter when you're taking off your shoes at airport security and both grandkids are fascinated by them. Husband suffers minor embarrassment while around me during these times, but then he can't even separate his toes! I'm female, 46 years old, and have received no compensation for this review...I'm just glad I read about these years ago and purchased them. (Posted on 8/22/16)

How to Wear Correct Toes

1. Start Slow!

Slowly and gracually wear them in increments of one-half to one hour per day and add an additional hour each day.

First wear them around the house and then eventually in shoes.

Best results are seen when Correct Toes are used both during physical activity and at rest.

Expect your feet and other parts of your body to feel different, perhaps even sore for a while as your toes realign to their natural position. If you have concerns, please see your doctor.

2. Wear Correct Toes in Shoes

Wear Correct Toes only in shoes that are wide enough in the toe box to incorporate them without rubbing on the foot (most Softstar shoes will accommodate Correc Toes, but this can vary depending on the shape and width of your foot).

Caring for Correct Toes

If your Correct Toes get dirty, simply wash them by hand with soap and warm water and let them air dry.

Correct Toes are constructed of medical-grade silicone for maximum comfort, flexibility and durability.

About Correct Toes

What if you could correct a myriad of foot and ankle problems, WITHOUT expensive surgery or pharmaceutical drugs? What if you could reduce your chances of developing osteoarthritis? What if the approach was simple, logical, and cost-effective?

Common Foot Problems

Common foot ailments include: bunions, hallux limitus and rigidus, neuromas, plantar fasciosis, hammertoes, and ingrown toenails. Related conditions include knee pain, other joint pain, and osteoarthritis. Imagine being able to CORRECT these conditions, as well as PREVENT them from occurring. Perhaps it would help if the approach was completely rational, as well as being backed by scientific study and research? Such an approach does indeed exist, and it is introduced below.

Barefoot vs. Shoe-Wearing

In some parts of the world, people consistently wear minimal footwear, either going barefoot or using flip-flops and sandals. A very small percentage of this population suffers from foot problems. In the industrialized world however, where narrow and rigid footwear is the norm, the occurrence of foot, ankle, and musculoskeletal problems is substantially higher. What is the reason for this disparity?

Natural Foot Shape & Function

Natural vs Unnatural Foot Shape

The human foot is designed such that the toes are spread and extended. This allows for optimal balance and stride. In societies where mainly flip-flops or sandals are used, foot integrity is maintained through life and foot problems are avoided. In industrialized societies however, the foot’s natural shape changes over time. The toes become elevated and pinched together, resulting in weakened flexor muscles combined with overly tight extensors. Subsequently, natural gait and balance are compromised. The main culprit is rigid footwear. The vast majority of footwear in the industrialized world elevates the heel above the forefoot (ball of foot), bends the toes upward (known as toe spring), and squeezes the toes together. Over time, this deforms the foot, leading to a host of foot problems, gait abnormalities, musculoskeletal pathologies.

The long-held conventional podiatric view is that the feet are inherently misshaped, and they need to be corrected with the use of orthotics or surgeries. Where these methods fail, pain is to be managed by anti-inflammatory drugs. Dr. Ray McClanahan is a podiatric physician and avid athlete who challenges this viewpoint. He has discovered, through extensive literature research and years of clinical practice, that the best way to treat most foot problems is by allowing the foot to function exactly as nature intended. Dr. Ray’s main approach with his patients is teaching about foot’s innate ability to walk and run with a perfect gait.

He demonstrates how most shoes on the market damage the foot shape, thereby compromising gait. He then shows how returning the feet to their natural shape eliminates existing foot problems and prevents new ones from arising. This is done using a Correct Toes spacer, which spreads the toes to their natural and correct position. This improves proprioception, which then allows the brain to better promote balance and optimal muscle function. Finally, Dr. Ray educates patients on choosing appropriate shoes that provide a flat surface and sufficient room for the toes to spread, thus allowing the gait to occur as nature intended. Clinical experience has shown again and again that returning the foot to its natural state treats most foot problems, and by extension, many musculoskeletal problems.

Correct Toes on Feet

Examples of positive outcomes with the use of Dr. Ray’s Correct Toes:

1. Correction of bunions, hallux limitus and rigidus, tailor’s bunions, corns, ingrown toenails, heel pain, plantar fasciosis, neuromas, capsulitis, lower leg pain, and runner’s knee. No surgery or medications required!

2. Better balance in athletes, Parkinson’s patients, and elderly.

3. Decreased injury rates in athletes, due to allowing the body to make better use of natural physiological adaptations that are hampered by current footwear available to athletes.

4. Increased performance in athletes (especially walkers and runners) by promoting foot positions that scientific studies have shown to have a 4 to 5% performance edge.

5. Improved strength and flexibility of the toes. This enhances proprioception, and subsequently the brain signals the body to move forward more naturally.

6. Less osteoarthritis (also known as degenerative arthritis), which currently plagues a majority of senior citizens, as well as a high percentage of the younger population.

We hope you find this information interesting and useful! Thanks for reading, and happy healing!
