Trouble Finding Shoes for BIG feet? Introducing Our New Wide XL Width!

Last year, we tweaked our sizing patterns to make our shoes more consistent with standard shoe sizes. Part of this change included more fitted wide and narrow options, which made the width of our shoes a bit snugger.

While this change benefitted about 95% of our customers, we did hear from people who told us that our wide shoes were the only shoes that fit them well... before the change. This was usually the case with customers who wore our Original RunAmoc, which came as no surprise since the Original was designed to accommodate barefoot runners who like their toes to spread; it has always been our widest style.

Our designers always appreciate receiving feedback from customers, and they always take it to heart. After hearing a few of these comments they decide to create a special option for our bigfooted fans.

We're happy to announce that you can now order our Original RunAmoc in a special Wide XL Width at no extra charge!

If you've had trouble finding shoes to fit your wide footsies then look no further! This new XL width option, like our old wide shoe, provides extra material on the upper front (vamp) of the shoe for thicker feet. Anyone who enjoyed how our old wide Originals fit should be very pleased with this size.

To order the Wide XL width, simply choose it from the width dropdown menu for our Adult Original RunAmocs.

I am incredibly happy to hear this. I have some of the older Runamocs (from before the sizing change) and they are the only shoes I own that I can fit my CorrecToes into. I have been worrying about what I will do since those shoes are getting really old and beat up. Thanks!!!

Glad to hear it, Karin! This new width should fit just like the old wide RunAmocs.
