When I ordered these shoes I promised pictures of my son walking down this path, but I had to wait until it was cool enough to walk outside! Alas my camera battery died before I was able to take any with the Sierra in the background, the one range you can see are the White Mountains.

Here we go :) These are a few links to my pics on flickr that I took tonight. You can see her running through the rocks, no problem. She fell on these same rocks a few months ago, and needed staples in her scalp. She didn't fall once during our little "photo shoot". lol.

We don't usually buy new things, other than food, but I know your shoes are worth it. And though your sandals are fabulous we need some closed toe shoes. I've attached a picture to show why. I promise to attach a picture of him walking down the same path in your shoes, but it will be considerably browner with snow-less mountains. Maybe I can catch a sunset, there are some advantages to having a big front lawn, though teaching your 18-month-old to shake pebbles out of his sandals is probably not one of them.

We love our soft star shoes! They are comfy and keep my daughter's feet protected, plus they look super cute. Everywhere we go people comment on her shoes. And they are tough, we have mostly dirt roads here (which means a lot of mud) and they still look just as good as the day we received them. Thanks so much elves for making such a great product! We can't wait to order our winter shoes.

Ella has enjoyed her 2009 Flower Fairy Sandals more than I can begin to tell you... they have been on many fun-filled 'fairy adventures' then perhaps any other pair we've owned (I attached a photo of her in them the day they arrived & another of her doing the first Fairy Garden Dance of 2010)... unfortunately, Ella's toes are officially hanging out over the front so its time to design a new pair... Hello again, I wanted to forward a picture from a hike we took this weekend in Jacksonville of Sophie wearing her elf shoes. At one point she put her feet -- and shoes -- into a creek, so on her walk back her feet were wet and the shoes were fine -- it did not bother her feet at all. Although she was amazed at her red feet when we got home. Also attached is a picture from earlier in the day when she was swinging at our house with our neighbor. We are so excited to receive our new elf shoes!!!

Behold - Ámela in a pair of Ramblers, in red and brown! She has worn them all winter, even in the snow. They have formed nicely to the shape of her foot. She wore a pair of stiff-soled dress shoes with her Christmas dress and kept falling over. She never seems uncomfortable in her Soft Stars! I'm going to keep buying your shoes for her until she asks me not to or until she can buy them for herself. :) Thank you for making such great shoes!

Dear Elves, I have never been so happy with a pair of children's shoes than I am with our very first pair of Soft Stars. My daughter has many medical issues and some sensory issues as well. We've been through more shoes than I think I've ever owned in my life, since she has gotten old enough to require a soled shoe. She has refused anything that wasn't a slipper style shoe, until now. She is ecstatic to have "safe" shoes for the playground that are still soft and not restricting to her feet. I can't thank you enough. We are already planning her summer shoes and her very first pair of school shoes when she starts preschool this fall.

We have just received a new pair of fushia pink dakota boots - they are great!! I can already predict how difficult it will be to take them off for bed in a few hours. Here are a few pictures from last summer when we travelled to the Magdalen Islands, Québec. Some days were so windy and cold that Romi (almost 3) was very happy to wear her wooly boots to go hiking. Other days she would gladly wear her red playtime shoes of her sandals...
