Scooter for the Pregnant Elf - Baby Names Needed!
Many of you who call our shop with questions know Elf Tesla very well. She's been at the helm of our customer service team for several years, and is often the first to answer a ringing phone.
As much as we love having her around, Tesla will be leaving us for a few months when she goes on her next maternity leave. Now 8 months pregnant with her second child, she's looking forward to a little home time.
Her pregnancy may have excused her from carrying some of the heavier tables when we moved to our new workshop, but it hasn't slowed her down. Tesla didn't waste any time setting up our new customer service office and training new employees... all while answering phones, responding to emails and fitting customers in our showroom. She did mention at some point that our new workshop is so big that it would be nice to zoom around on a scooter whenever she needed to hurry across the floor. Although she may have meant it anecdotally, she was heard.
Elves Hava and Heather surprised Tesla recently by presenting her with two push scooters of her very own! They chose to use our most recent playday to give the scooters custom paint jobs, along with a few extra embellishments.
Suffice it to say, Tesla loves her new scooters and has been finding them more and more useful as she gets further along in her pregnancy. She also gave me permission to share this proof:
Baby Name Ideas?
Tesla's due date is fast approaching, but she and husband Michael still have not decided on a baby name. They were in this conundrum with their first child a couple years ago and asked for suggestions from our fans. You gave some great ideas, and they ended up naming their daughter Sage after a few of our fans suggested it on Facebook! Sage is now 2 1/2, and is eagerly waiting for her younger sibling to arrive.
Tesla is now asking for name suggestions for her next child. If you have any ides then feel free to list them in the comments below.
To get an idea of the kinds of names Tesla and Michael like, here are a few they're considering:
- River
- Sawyer
- Morgan
- Sorrel
Gender is unknown, and Tesla's due date is March 16. Be sure to check back to see which name they choose!
[UPDATE 3/29/17: The new baby has arrived! Click here to see which name they chose.]
In the meantime, check out the rad custom artwork on these phat scooters... people still say that, right?
