Happy Thanksgiving! Holiday Shopping Tips and Ideas from the Elves
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
We want you to know how much we appreciate all of our wonderful customers. It's an ongoing challenge to keep a domestic handmaking shoe workshop up and running and it means so much to us to receive your heartfelt support. We're always touched by the many thanks and photos you send us, and all of us elves know we're very blessed to work at a business that allows us to engage so directly with our patrons.
We hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving feast, and a happy first day of Hanukkah to our Jewish friends!
With the arrival of Thanksgiving, we also see the beginning of the holiday shopping season. We're proud to say that we give each of our elves the option of taking Black Friday off so they can spend a long holiday weekend with their families, but we will have some limited customer service support available on Friday afternoon. On Cyber Monday, we'll be back in full swing ready to tackle all of your holiday orders!
Having trouble deciding what to give this season? Well, it may come as no surprise that our first thought is the gift of SHOES! Our design elves have been busy this year and we're proud to now offer a wider selection of casual shoes, athletic shoes, boots, moccasins, playground shoes and baby booties than ever before. We have suggestions for all your loved ones in our 2013 Holiday Gift Guide, which includes not only shoes, but many US-made accessories and stocking-stuffers as well.
For example, did you know that we also sell handmade wooden baby rattles, shiny leather star ornaments and domestically-published children's books? It's true! Whatever you decide to give this holiday season, we strongly encourage you to support your local American businesses.
We also want to remind you of our holiday shipping deadlines. As the season gets busier, the queue of shoes to be made gets longer. Be sure to order on time to receive your shoes by the holidays!
And if you miss the deadline, remember that you can always order a last-minute Soft Star Gift Certificate. It takes away the hassle of guessing sizes or colors!
The elves wish you a wonderful holiday season!
