Local Roots - Global Reach: NPR Radio Feature

We were tickled to have NPR journalist Laura McClandlish stop by our shop to write a radio feature on Soft Star Shoes. The story was part of an Oregon KLCC radio series on "Jobs and Economy". You can click here to read the feature. There is also a nice video with pictures of our workshop and the Elves...

I could see why once you get an order from a country you start getting more and more. Every time I take my daughter out in your shoes we get compliments and everyone wants to know where to get them. It helps that the name is easy to remember (I hope). Anyway, just wanted to say that I really respect your product and your store (everything from the family feel, care for the environment, that you can design your own shoes, that your children are welcome in the work place, that produce your product at home [I am not even from the U.S.A and I get the importance and significance of that choice] ). I am a new customer but sincerely expect to be one for life!

P.S.
Just got my RunAmoc shoes today I'm already in love!
