Sandals at the North Pole

Sometimes customers confuse us "shoe elves" with "Santa's elves" from the North Pole. Actually we have never been to the North Pole... but our shoes have.

Today we shipped an order to our friend Julie from Fairbanks, Alaska. Her mailing address is at the North Pole... pretty distinctive Post Office! Even more bemusing is that we sent a pair of sandals - hope that means some warm weather in Julie's future.

Ever wonder about why elves make shoes? There is a great story to be found about the shoemaker and the elves by clicking here.
