New for Fall 2009 - Organic Green! Scroll down for colors...
We are so excited to offer these absolutely BEAUTIFUL Tasharoo Leg Warmers! Hand knit by Tasha's Mom and Grandma in the Pacific Northwest, these gorgeous legwarmers are an essential, lovely addition to your baby and toddler's wardrobe. They keep your child's legs warm and cozy while in the stroller or sling - and are easy to slip off once inside. Machine washable, air dry.
My friend turned me on to baby legwarmers after I mentioned that Baby Elf Cruz's legs were freezing with the recent cold snap. She gushed about all the different ways her children have used leg warmers:
USES: - for warmth, especially when pants ride up in carriers - as an extra "foot warmer" - just pull down over their shoes - and (of course!) - they are just CUTE |

Toddlers can pull them on well before they can figure out how to put on socks. I (Cruz's Mom) went out and bought a few pair of the commercial brands and was thrilled with how versatile they were and how much I started using them day-to-day with my son-- but I was NOT thrilled with the "Made in China" synthetic-ness of them. When we found Tasharoo Leg Warmers - we were delighted.
Why Tasharoo Leg Warmers are the best:

 |
Made from hand dyed, oh-so-soft wool |
 |
Naturally warmer than cotton |
 |
Knit wool is naturally stretchy and snugs to your baby's legs - no need for tight elastic on your baby's legs. Once washed, they can be air dried back to whatever level of stretchiness you desire. |
 |
Holds shape and lasts longer than cotton alternatives |
 |
Unique and hand knit in U.S.A. |
Frequently Asked Questions:
WOOL: Isn't it itchy? No, Tasharoo Leg Warmers are made from the most wonderfully soft high quality wool. You will want to rub it against your cheek.
SIZING: One size fits newborns through 12-18 mos. (up to 12 months for chunky babies, 18 months for average size calves). Legwarmers measure 7 1/2" long and 6" circumference.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Machine wash warm. Dry Flat.
RESIZING: Wool is a natural fiber and may stretch over time. To resize, simply follow care instructions. Knitters call this "blocking". You can block your leg warmers slightly longer or wider when you wash them.
COLORS
Because the wool is hand dyed, all colors will have slight variations in hue which will bring richness and depth to the design.

Customers say... "After one week of dressing my year and a half year old in her new Tasharoo leg warmers I can honestly say that they have made my Top 5 Most Useful Things for my daughter.
Here is why . . . living in the Bay Area, most mornings are overcast and cold but by 11 am the sun is shining and a completely different wardrobe is required. Not any more, for my daughter it is now a question of wearing leg warmers all morning and just popping them off when the sun comes out. They are such a fantastic way to warm up an outfit I can't believe I didn't think of them before. And they also look cool! I got the wildflower which goes with absolutely everything in her wardrobe."
