The Phoenix boot is our best winter seller. Customers have been delighted with a warm, functional winter boot that is soft soled, comfortable and lightweight for their children. The Phoenix features a side zipper, nutmeg brown leather and trim, and tan suede.
Other features include a roomy toebox, and improved heel supports to help these soft boots stay looking great all season long. Phoenix boots only come in one width which is designed to be extra roomy. If in-between sizes, we recommend you go UP a size, especially if you plan to wear your boots with woolen socks.
Made for cold weather, these are protective in snow and rain - and have been great at keeping our kids dry after afternoons of sledding, hiking and even slush stomping. Made from the softest, formaldehyde-free leather, these boots are sure to please! Soft soles, lightweight, stylish and warm - hard to find all in one package!
We believe shoes should provide protection from the elements while doing their best to simulate barefoot conditions. Soft Star Shoes are designed wider, with flexible soft soles and natural breathable materials. All our soles are as lightweight and flexible as possible while still providing the protection needed.
For children in particular, this is important as the bones in their feet are still forming and not fully ossified until ages 9-11. Many children's shoes made today are simply scaled down versions of adult shoes with arch supports, stiff soles and foot beds that are too narrow to allow toes room to spread.
Our shoes have soft, flexible & protective rubber soling. Sizes 4-7 are low profile, whereas sizes 8 and up are slightly thicker to support the heavier weight of growing children. I ordered a pair of your toddler boots with the zipper in a size 8. They are yellow leather and black suede... I get compliments on them everywhere I go, I tell people your website almost daily! I have to say I am impressed with how water proof and warm they are! My son enjoys standing in VERY deep puddles and we go for 4 hour walks some days in the cold and he is always toasty when I take off those boots!
