Send us your video and you could 
win a life time supply* of Soft Star Shoes!!!

To celebrate our 25 years, we want to do a community video project with you, the most amazing customers in the world! Just round up some Soft Star fans - adults, kids, parents, grandparents, neighbors - and capture two things:

1) In your video include a single written word that tells us "How does it feel to wear your Soft Star shoes?" (examples below)

*** AND ***

2) Answer the question "Where have your Soft Star's taken you?" 

...we want to know if your shoes took you on a hike in the woods? To the library? To your couch? To a state of supreme inner balance?  Did they hang upside down today? Do cartwheels? Run a race?  Did they scrub the floor? Pound the asphalt? Go to work? To school? Show us a snippet of your day and a window into your world! 


 

* Winning entry will receive $60 per year for 20 years towards the purchase of Soft Star products.

• Video Details: 
  • Videos should be at least 20 seconds and no more than 3 minutes 
  • Must include a shot of your subjects holding up something with a single word that best summarizes how it feels when wearing Soft Star shoes
  • If possible, include your Soft Star shoes in the video... the more loved they are, the better
  • All languages welcome and encouraged.
• How to submit - Deadline is midnight pacific time August 31st, 2010:
  • Please post videos on YouTube -
    • create a YouTube account with an e-mail and password
    • click on "upload" in the upper right hand corner
    • click on the "Upload Video" button 
    • browse to your video on your hard drive
  • E-mail us the following information: 
    • Name
    • Address
    • Phone number
    • Link to video (example of the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F4Fbii7Bb48)
  • We will link all approved videos to the Soft Star Channel on YouTube - http://www.youtube.com/user/SoftStarShoes 
• Prize:
  • The prize for the winning video is $60 per year for 20 years toward the purchase of Soft Star products
  • Winner will be announced by September 22, 2010
  • The winning video will be selected by the Elves and will be based on the video that best captures the Soft Soft spirit
  • All approved videos will be represented on a compilation video that will also be posted on the Soft Star YouTube site
• Legal Stuff:
  • The video must be your original work. Only include video, music, images, etc  that is your own. Avoid brand logos on things like t-shirts or backgrounds, except Soft Star logos of course!
  • No purchase is necessary to participate.
  • The content of all submitted videos become the property of Soft Star Shoes and can be used by Soft Star for promotional purposes. We reserve the right to edit videos.
  • Videos must conform to YouTube and Facebook's terms of service and community standards.
