NEW FOR 2008!!! Our Rambler style features the best of our moccasins with the versatility of a flexible, soft, rubber sole. We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this shoe! The seam is on the outside for comfort. Uppers feature our soft, smooth grain leather in monotone or duo-tones. You can choose to have cutouts added, if desired for extra ventilation. In the rotating images above, the blue shoe shows an example of the "dot" cutouts, and the pink shoe shows an example of the starburst cutouts.
Inside, you can choose to have a plain suede inner sole, or genuine sheepskin innersoles that keep the foot protected, dry and comfortable. Sheepskin is nature's heat regulator - and keeps feet dry in the summer, and cozy in the winter. Inner elastic hugs the ankle which makes the shoe easy to slip on, and they stay on.
Great for a kick-back adult shoe - and FABULOUS as baby's first pair of shoes-- the gentle elastic ankle stays on even when crawling and provides a light-weight, "practically barefoot" design. Easy to surface clean with any good leather cleaner.
Childrens Sizes 3 - 13 have Sof-TouchTM soling-- a very low profile, soft protective rubber sole that eases the transition from a moccasin style to a soled shoe. Sof-TouchTM feather-light soles mold to your baby's foot while providing the protection of a sturdy, non-slip shoe. For photos illustrating differences in soling, click here.
Youth Sizes have our classic Vibram soling. Lightweight and flexible. Our Vibram provides light cushioning and also molds over time to your child's foot.
