Quick Overview
At Soft Star we have been designing barefoot-like shoes to promote natural foot movement for over 25 years. When our customers started telling us they were running serious mileage in our moccasins and ramblers - we listened and designed the RunAmoc specifically for runners. Lightweight and flexible, the RunAmoc is essentially a leather glove for your foot with a wide toe box, ventilated uppers, and thin durable soles.

- Zero drop sole between toe and heel.
- Ventilated leather uppers keep feet cool with quick-dry properties.
- Wide toe box so your toes can grip, spread & splay away!
- Choose your outer sole: Personalize with Trail (5mm) or street (2mm) soling options featuring genuine Vibram® products.
- Lightweight, between 5.6 oz to 8.7 oz depending on the type of sole you choose and how big your paws are.
- Integrated lace/elastic ankle closure for adjustable tension.
- Designed and made in Oregon using 100% made-in USA raw materials.
- Premium, formaldehyde-free leathers.
- We can make most shoes within 4 business days (some exceptions apply).
- Design-Your-Own shoes in like-new condition are fully returnable/exchangeable according to the terms of our return policy.
Soft Star shoe sizes are unisex "U".
Note: The earlier "A" (adult) identifier has been replaced by a "U"(unisex adult). If you previously ordered a 9A, you would now order a 9U.
Please use table below to best find your corresponding size. For best results, rely on your standard US shoe size. We find this to be the best place to start for adults and generally the most reliable method.
A few style notes:
RunAmoc ORIGINALS are designed to be loose and feel "floppy." If you want a snugger fit then you may want to go down a size in the ORIGINALS.
RunAmoc DASH have a closer fit and there is no need to go down a size.
Order Phoenix boots to fit SNUG as they will stretch over time. If in doubt, go down a size and expect them to be very snug the first few weeks. This is true for any brand of genuine sheepskin boots—they are soft and giving.

We do our best to get the best leather color swatch photographs possible - but we realize pictures aren't always enough. So when a customer suggested we tell people what Crayola™ color crayon the leather most closely matches - we thought that was a fantastic idea! Below you will find the Soft Star colors and the Crayola™ Crayon names.
